Travel CT Technologist – Days | 13-Week Contract

Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 200 Hours
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT scanning, contrast administration, patient assessment, and imaging protocols, working collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Review and interpret imaging orders, consulting with radiologists when clarification is needed.
  • Prepare and educate patients on CT procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Obtain informed consent for contrast administration when required.
  • Establish IV access and administer contrast media safely.
  • Perform point-of-care GFR testing and blood collection as required before contrast studies.
  • Assess patient history and identify any contraindications or safety concerns.
  • Select appropriate CT protocols and imaging parameters based on anatomy and clinical indication.
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Utilize PACS and other imaging systems for image processing and documentation.
  • Maintain CT equipment and report any operational issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (CT) registration/certification.
  • Active Radiologic Technology Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and CT imaging procedures.
  • Experience interpreting complex radiology orders.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Abbott i-STAT or other point-of-care testing systems.
  • Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
  • Previous hospital or acute care CT experience.

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
