Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM (10-hour shifts)

Job Summary

North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.
 

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment while ensuring image quality.
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention guidelines.
• Accurately document procedures in the Meditech electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment while adhering to hospital policies and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (preferred by facility).
• Current ARRT (CT) Certification.
• Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging department.
