Description
Role: RN Clinic — Leadership / Clinical Operations Coordinator (Cardio/Vascular Surgery focus)
Location: San Diego, CA (On-site)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 5x8s (40 hours/week)
Start Date: August 26, 2026
Projected End Date: October 24, 2026

What you’ll do
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day shift operations within a defined clinical area
- Support patient outcomes through clinical competence and quality improvement activities
- Drive operational flow by collaborating with physicians and cross-functional departments
- Support staff performance and development (orientation/mentoring, competency support, performance reviews)
- Monitor productivity and resource utilization (staffing mix, overtime usage, cost-conscious practices)
- Promote safety and ensure appropriate documentation/reporting and policy adherence
Required
- Active California RN license
- AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider)
- 2+ years recent, relevant clinical experience
- CVOR experience (open heart, circulating, cardiac robotic procedures)
Preferred
- Leadership experience
- Scrub experience
- Physician relations experience
- Experience partnering with Sterile Processing
