Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / PCU (Auto-Offer) – Rotating Shifts

Ready for your next assignment at a world-renowned facility? We are looking for highly skilled Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute (HVTI) Stepdown unit at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

This is an AUTO-OFFER position for qualified candidates who meet all strict clinical and profile requirements. The role requires high adaptability, with potential floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.

Position Details

• Start Date: 07-24-2026
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Day/Night Rotation (07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may be variable based on the operational needs of the hospital.
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Cleveland, OH

Compensation & Perks

• EMR: Epic
• Orientation Modules: Up to 4 hours of pre-start modules are fully billable.

Submission & Profile Requirements (Strictly Enforced)

• Experience: Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty, and 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel history counts toward recency).
• Licensure: Active Ohio State or Compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission. (Zero license hits allowed).
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required at submission (nothing pending).
• References: Two (2) management-level references (Manager, ANM, Supervisor, or Director) from assignments worked within the past 12 months are mandatory. Co-worker references will not be accepted.
• Holiday Requirement: Required to work at least every other holiday.
• Background/Testing: No open criminal cases. Must pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate exam during orientation (2 attempts max).
• Fingerprinting: Must be willing to complete BCI/FBI background fingerprints within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Cleveland Clinic Policy: Permanent or per diem staff cannot return as a traveler for 1 year from their previous end date. Local travelers may only be submitted to one Cleveland Clinic Health System job at a time.
