Job Summary

Everett Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Family Practice/Primary Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will have recent outpatient clinic experience, be comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan—from newborns to geriatrics—and have experience administering pediatric vaccines. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative outpatient team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a primary care/family practice clinic.
• Assess, monitor, and educate patients across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer pediatric and adult immunizations in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, medications, chronic disease management, and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to clinic policies, infection prevention protocols, and professional nursing standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum 2–3 years of recent primary care clinic experience.
• Experience administering pediatric vaccines.
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.

Required Documents

• Updated resume demonstrating 2–3 years of primary care clinic experience.
• Two recent manager or supervisor references in a comparable specialty.
• Completed specialty skills checklist.
• Driver's license with an address matching candidate demographics.
• Current NURSYS verification report (issued within the last week) showing an active Massachusetts RN license and all current or previous nursing licenses.
• Flu vaccination documentation (required during flu season).
• Requested time off (RTO) submitted at the time of application.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 13-week travel assignment
• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour day shifts
• No weekends unless required by the facility.
