Position: CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 07/13/2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role requires technical proficiency, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Equipment & Technology
- CT Scanners: GE Ascend, GE Optima 660
- Facility transitioning to GE APEX in the near future
- Charting System: EPIC
- Imaging Systems: PACS
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
- Operate CT equipment and point-of-care testing devices as needed
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC
- Maintain image quality standards and adhere to radiation safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Participate in on-call rotation if available
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Minimum Experience & Certification Requirements
- ARRT Certification (CT) – required
- 2–3+ years of CT experience
- At least 1 year of travel experience
- Preferred experience with:
- Point-of-care platform Abbott i‑STAT
- Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
