- Active Iowa RN License or Compact RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 12 months of Med Surg experience
- At least 24 months of recent Med Surg/Oncology/Neurology experience on resume
- Experience with Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone administration
- Experience caring for Neurology patients
- First-time travelers welcome with at least 18 months of hospital nursing experience
- Oncology experience preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred (can be completed during onboarding)

- Stroke-focused Med Surg unit
- Float between Med Surg & Stepdown as needed
- Every other holiday rotation
- No on-call requirement
- Navy or black solid scrubs

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
