Description
- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)
- Facility: St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) – Tower
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Shift: 5x8 Hour Day Shift (40 Hours/Week)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks

- 8 CVOR Operating Rooms
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience
- First-time travelers are not recommended
- Strong independent CVOR experience required
- Travelers will circulate only (no scrubbing)

- BLS

- Valve Replacements
- Robotic Thoracic Surgery (Lobectomy, Hernia Repair)
- Generator Exchanges
- Lead Extractions
- Heart Transplants
- Fem-Pop Bypass
- Experience in a fast-paced CVOR environment

- EPIC (Required)
- Alaris

- Da Vinci XI Robot
Patient Ratios
- 1:1
Call Requirements
- Weekend Call: Once per month (24-hour call, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
- End-of-shift call: Up to once per week
- 30-minute response time
- Holiday call as needed
Floating
- No floating for RN
Orientation
- 2 weeks
Schedule
- Start time between 5:00 AM – 6:30 AM
- Up to 7 days RTO may be approved
Additional Information
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking
- Cafeteria and Starbucks on site
- Pain reassessment documentation required after medication administration
- Facility fatigue policy: Maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
