Description
PAY:
Local Pay - $70/hr on W2
Travelers Pay:
Taxable - $24.5/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $1,100 weekly
Meals Stipend - $768 weekly
Weekly Gross - $2,750 weekly including stipend for 36 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-NICU
Location - 2220 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, GA 30329
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 12 hours night shift // 36 hours
Schedule - Weekend BLOCK Nights - Friday, Sat, Sunday
Float - Yes, Open to float to other units.
Must work at least one holiday if it falls during contract
Some common diagnosis include: CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, pre/peri/post-op
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU.
Monitor and assess neonatal patients, including vital signs, respiratory status, and overall condition.
Administer medications, IV fluids, TPN, and blood products as prescribed.
Operate and monitor ventilators, CPAP, incubators, and other neonatal life-support equipment.
Assist with neonatal procedures, resuscitations, and emergency interventions.
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate and support parents on infant care, feeding, and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and neonatal care standards.
REQUIREMENT:
RN with 3 years of level IV/surgical NICU experience
BLS, PALS - Required
