🔥 PREMIUM DUAL CATH LAB & IR TECH CONTRACT – 4x10 DAYS – EXCELLENT PAY

 

First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled, dual-proficient Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for an immediate 12-week travel assignment in Carmel, Indiana. Operating in a high-acuity environment across 2 advanced rooms, this role blends high-level interventional radiology workflows with diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Enjoy stable 10-hour day shifts and an exceptional Indiana compensation package.

 

Please note: This facility requires previous travel experience. First-time travel candidates will not be considered.

 

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $3,291.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,491.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $45.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $67.50/hr (Billable after 40 hours)
  • Based on 40 Regular Hours weekly (4x10 Shifts)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM). No block scheduling.
  • On-Call Requirements: Mandatory call coverage averaging a minimum of 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend.
  • EMR System: Cerner preferred.
  • Daily Flow: Averages 8 patient visits per day across 2 procedural rooms.
  • Patient Age Groups: Across the lifespan (Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics).
  • Equipment Utilized: Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Acist injector, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shockwave, Rampart, Penumbra, and Inari.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting. Previous travel contract experience is strictly required. Previous charge experience is preferred.
  • Certifications Required: ARRT (R), active AHA BLS, and ACLS are required at the time of submission.
  • Core Competencies: Must be fully competent to scrub, circulate, and monitor both Cardiac Cath (LHC, RHC, STEMI call, Balloon pumps, Impella) and IR procedures (venous access, drain placement, GI tubes, DVTs, Fistula work, prostate embolizations, internal bleeds). Conscious sedation experience required.

To pass automated vendor screening, candidates must have at least one successfully completed travel contract on their resume. 📞 Mandatory On-Call Rotations: This position comes with a strict call schedule of a minimum of 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend. On-call pay is set at $10/hr with a 1.35x Call Back multiplier. 💉 Dual-Discipline Cross Coverage: Techs must be fully cross-trained and comfortable jumping between high-acuity Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiac Cath Lab cases on both Siemens and Philips equipment. 🩹 Mandatory Vaccine Guidelines: The COVID-19 vaccine is not required by the facility guideline; however, the Flu Vaccine is strictly required (medical or religious exemptions only). 📋 Submission Requirements: To ensure a successful profile submittal, you must provide active verification copies of your ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS upfront, along with a completed skills checklist specific to Cath/IR.
