🔥 PREMIUM CATH LAB RN CONTRACT – LOCAL CANDIDATES ACCEPTED

First Connect Health is seeking a highly experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week contract at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California. This assignment is fully open to both travel and local clinicians! Operating in a high-acuity, 4-room interventional suite, this position handles comprehensive diagnostic/interventional catheterizations, EP procedures, and hybrid operating room workflows.

Please note: This facility has immediate compliance hard-stops. First-time travel candidates will not be considered.

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,856.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,800.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr
Based on California daily structures: 32 Regular Hours + 8 Daily OT Hours weekly (4x10 Shifts)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM). No block scheduling.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly (Facility reserves the right to call off only once per two-week pay period).
On-Call Requirements: Heavy call rotation required. Must support 7 days of call per 2-week pay period (broken down as 2 post-shift nights per week + 1 full weekend per 2 weeks).
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend is standard, but weekends may exceed every other to meet critical unit needs.
EMR Systems: Epic and Meditech charting.
Clinical Environment: State-of-the-art 4-room Cath Lab facility utilizing advanced equipment including Impella and Balloon Pumps.
Clinical Scope: High-acuity adult and geriatric cases across Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath (LHC, RHC, PCI, Stent placement, TAVR, Valvuloplasty, VAD insertion) and Electrophysiology (AICDs, pacemaker insertion, cardiac ablation).

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care Cath Lab experience is preferred. 1.5 years of experience is an absolute compliance HARD-STOP.
Travel Mandate: Previous travel contract experience is strictly required. No first-time travelers allowed.
Licensure: Active California State RN License must be verified and in hand at submission (no pending licenses accepted).
Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS and ACLS are required at submittal. NIHSS is highly preferred.
