Description

RN – Medical-Surgical - Trauma

**Schedule**  
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes  
- Weekly Options: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week  
- Shift Pattern: Confirm shift pattern in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12)  

**Assignment Details**  
- Contract Length: 13 weeks  

**Requirements**  
- Minimum 5 years RN experience  
- Trauma Level I & II experience required  
- Required Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS  
- Must pass Relias EKG exam  

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a trauma/acute care setting.  
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.  
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.  
- Assist in surgical procedures, including the management of chest tubes, surgical drains, and wound care.  
- Conduct patient assessments and document care in the EMR system.  
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.
