Description

Nursing – Correctional Health

**Assignment Details**  
Contract Length: 26–52 weeks

**Requirements**  
- Current, valid New York state nursing license required  
- 1 year clinical nursing experience minimum  
- BLS certification required  
- Preferred experience in medical-surgical, ambulatory care, or mental health  

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Administer medications, including controlled substances, ensuring compliance  
- Monitor vital signs and conduct physical assessments  
- Provide wound care and dressing changes  
- Participate in emergency response and code team activities  
- Manage oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management  
- Follow isolation precautions and appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
