Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Cleveland, OH
 

Position Details

• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 3 × 12-hour Rotating Shifts
  • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts based on the operational needs of the hospital. The facility will make every effort to honor your preferred shift; however, rotation may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience in the specialty (preferably at one facility, but combined experience is acceptable).
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience counts toward this requirement).
• Active Ohio RN License or a valid Compact RN License (must be in hand).
• Current certifications:
  • BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • NIHSS

Floating

Candidates may be required to float to the following units while caring for the same patient population:

• Emergency Department (ED)

Holiday Requirement

• Travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday during the assignment.

Orientation Requirements

During orientation, candidates must successfully complete:

• ECG Rhythm Recognition Test
• Safe Medicate Assessment

A passing score on both assessments is required.
