Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
📍 Location: West Virginia
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 4x10 Days (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
📞 Call Required: 10–11 call shifts per month (includes weekends & holidays)

- High-volume diagnostic and interventional procedures
❤️ Cath Lab Details
- 2 Cardiac Cath Labs
- 7 Procedure/Holding Suites
- 2 Holding Bays
- Average 4–5 cases per day
- Case volume ranges from 2–9 procedures daily
👩⚕️ RN Responsibilities
This is an Interventional Cath Lab position.
The RN will be responsible for:
- Medication administration
- Circulator role
- Monitor role
- Moderate sedation
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Emergency response during procedures
- Assisting throughout invasive cardiac procedures
Scrubbing is performed by CV Radiology Techs.
✅ Required Experience
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
Must be experienced with:
- Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- Diagnostic Heart Catheterizations
- PCI (Coronary Interventions)
- Pacemaker Procedures
- ICD Procedures
- Moderate Sedation
- Hemodynamic Monitoring
- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
Experience with the ACIST Contrast Injector is a plus but not required (training provided).

- Adult Cardiac Interventions
No Electrophysiology Ablations
Certifications Required
- ✅ Active RN License
- ✅ BLS (AHA)
- ✅ ACLS (AHA)

- ACIST Contrast Injector
Team Structure
Typical procedure team consists of:
- 2 Registered Nurses
- 1 CV Radiology Tech
Resource Charge Nurse assists with workflow and staffing and will help with procedures as needed.
