Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport (Critical Access Hospital)
Location: Williamsport, IN (Near Carmel, IN)
Unit: 16-bed Medical Surgical / Step Down Unit

Essential Responsibilities & Environment

Patient Care: Direct and comprehensive nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and telemetry monitoring.
Critical Response: Must be able to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, provide stabilization when needed, and facilitate transfers to higher levels of care.
Care Coordination: Patient and family education, and seamless coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team.
Environment: Rural healthcare setting requiring the ability to care for a diverse patient population.

Required Qualifications

Clinical Skills: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking are essential.
Compliance: Must maintain strict compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives.
