Description
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
**Schedule**
Nights (1900-0730), rotating weekends. 1 12-hour call shift required per pay period.
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
**Requirements**
1. Current unencumbered RN license required upon submission.
2. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
3. AHA ACLS and NRP are required.
4. Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required.
5. STABLE preferred.
6. Previous experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate preferred.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide labor, delivery, and recovery care, including postpartum and newborn care.
- Perform triage and assess patient conditions in the labor and delivery setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being during labor.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
