Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

**Schedule**  
Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM, 2 out of 3 weekends. Block scheduling available.

**Assignment Details**  
Guaranteed Hours: 36  
Contract Length: 12 weeks

**Requirements**  
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state  
- Bachelors degree (B.S.N.), Associates degree (A.D.N.), or Diploma from an accredited college of nursing  
- Current BLS certification  
- Current ACLS certification  
- Current NRP certification (for RNs assigned to the Obstetrics Department)  
- Must have Labor and Delivery experience

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Manage, organize, and administer nursing care to patients of all ages under physician supervision.  
- Assess patient needs regarding their physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual requirements.  
- Report and document observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient conditions.  
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver and evaluate patient care plans.  
- Administer medications using standard safety protocols.  
- Provide educational information to patients and families based on their specific needs.  
- Create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, families, and visitors.  
- Organize and prioritize assignments to ensure optimal patient care.
