Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract - Baltimore, MD

Position Details

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10s
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Day Off: Varies
On-Call: Required

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Support procedures including:
- Left Heart Cath
- Right Heart Cath
- PCI
- IABP Insertion
- Pericardiocentesis
- Swan-Ganz Catheter Insertion
- Stress Testing
- Nuclear Stress Testing
- Implantable LOOP Recorder Procedures
Function in multiple cardiology areas including:
- Cath Lab
- Stress Lab
- Nuclear Stress Lab
Perform duties as a:
- Radiology Technologist
- Procedure Documenter
- Stress Lab Assistant
- Nuclear Stress Lab Assistant

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
One of the following:
- Active ARRT(R) registration and Maryland Radiologic Technologist license
- RCIS certification (accepted in lieu of Maryland license and ARRT)

Preferred Experience

Pacemakers
Peripheral vascular procedures
Impella
IABP

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent occupational training
