Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

**Schedule**  
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12hr Days)  
36 hour guarantee  

**Assignment Details**  
Contract Length: 13 weeks  
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week  

**Requirements**  
- Vermont RN License or Compact  
- Active American Heart Association BLS  
- Active American Heart Association ACLS  
- 2 years of recent Med Surg Rehab experience  
- Charge nurse experience  
- Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)  
- Skills checklist for Medical Surgical nursing (current within the last year)  

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients.  
- Engage in patient and family education.  
- Provide leadership and collaborate with ancillary nursing and other patient care personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.  
- Float to any unit within scope of practice as required.  
- Participate actively in patient care by overseeing and assisting other nursing staff as a backup charge nurse.
