Description
**Title:** Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
**Schedule:** Night Shift 7p-7a and 7a-7p
**Assignment Details:**
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must possess a valid State RN license or Compact License
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- 3 years of previous nursing experience preferred
- Strong medical-surgical/telemetry experience
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
- Assess patients upon admission by obtaining relevant medical history and conducting physical assessments.
- Plan and implement care plans under the direction of a physician.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding their health conditions and care plans.
