Description

Overview

Seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide exceptional preoperative and postoperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates must have experience in Pre-Op, Phase I PACU, and Phase II PACU.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care during Pre-Op, Phase I, and Phase II PACU recovery
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
Assess, manage, and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, pain management, and post-operative treatments
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Active IL RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
Phase I PACU, Pre-Op, and Phase II PACU experience required
Strong assessment and critical care skills

Certifications (Required)

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS
