Overview

Seeking an experienced Pediatric ER RN to join a Level I Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center, providing family-centered emergency care for patients under 19 years of age. This high-acuity unit cares for patients ranging from urgent care needs to complex trauma and critical illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for pediatric patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Care for trauma, burn, and critically ill pediatric patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high-quality, family-centered care

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Experience in a high-acuity pediatric setting
• Burn care experience highly preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Certifications (Required)

• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• TNCC
