Census? Average patients/day? 8-10 patients per day
Minimum Years of Experience required? 1-year minimum outpatient OT experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Mostly adults and geriatrics, school aged children (non-pediatric development dx.)
ADL, self-care, mostly upper extremity issues (shoulder/arm/hand), post-ortho, work injuries, neurological issues. Serving a rural community, so could be anything general requiring OT.
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
BLS
Maine OT License
Will take Bachelor s degree or above
Skills required:
Experience with above patient types
Teaching ADLs and self-care, splinting, education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy
Support within the Department:
4 total PT
2 PTAs will take assignments from PTs
1 other OT and SLP here as well
2 PSRs
At least 1 assistant supervisor available.
