PREMIUM MEDICAL SURGICAL RN CONTRACT – 3x12 DAYS – STABLE SCHEDULE

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 8-week travel assignment. Operating within a high-acuity medical-surgical unit, this position is tailored for elite nursing professionals fully capable of assessing, planning, and evaluating complex patient care delivery while providing clinical leadership to the team completely independently. Please note: This facility enforces a strict local radius rule. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the clinical location in Mattoon, IL will not be considered.

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (07:00 AM - 19:30 PM). No block scheduling.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly.
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation is strictly required.
On-Call Requirements: Absolutely NO On-Call required, protecting your days off and ensuring a highly consistent routine.
Assignment Length: Quick 8-Week high-impact contract.
Clinical Scope & Procedures: Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. Provides expert clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift while managing diverse adult medical-surgical caseloads.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 3 years of consecutive, recent clinical experience strictly in an acute care Med Surg setting. Must have a documented work history displaying advanced patient care management.
Profile Mandates: To clear automated screening, must include a current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry, 2 completed supervisory reference forms with employment dates listed, and a valid driver's license/address verification.
Certifications Required: Verifiable Active AHA BLS is required at submission. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS) is strictly required within 30 days of your assignment start date.
Licensure Required: Active, unrestricted Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse license clear on Nursys.
