Description
Minimum Years Experience: 3 years Peds CVOR experience; must be in 1st Scrub Role, not just 2nd Scrub Role
1st scrub experience – handing supplies to surgeon, counting instruments
2nd scrub – counts, helps with back table
First-time traveler? No, unless 5+ Peds CVOR experience
Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Level IV NICU
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Neonates – 18; will see adult sized patients as well as infants and everything in between. Could see patients who are developmentally delayed and/or have congenital anomalies. Cardiothoracic cases – Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, ASD repairs
Required Licensure & Certifications: CST, BLS, WA State License
Skills required: Experience scrubbing with above patient types (send for manager approval if 1 or 2 things they do not have experience with)

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
