Description
Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) tech/nurse-style
10-hour day shift (6:30 AM–5:00 PM)
- Weeknight call: 1–2 times per week (after 5 PM), with a 30-minute response time
- Weekend call: about 2 weekends per month, covering 24-hour call blocks (6:30 AM–6:30 AM)
- Holidays: 1 major + 1 minor
Clinically, this is a high-acuity interventional environment:
- Procedures include heart caths (L/R), EP studies, pacemakers, defibrillators
- IR work includes PICC lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, pleural drains, etc.
- Requires scrub experience and comfort working in both Cath Lab + IR
Key requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience (Cath Lab required)
- ARRT certification (for techs)
- BLS + ACLS (AHA)
- Fluoroscopy license (for techs)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with call + fast response expectations
