• Shift: Nights (Facility shift options include 19:00 - 07:00, 23:00 - 11:00, or 23:00 - 07:30)

• Location & Facility

• Facility: Floyd County Memorial Hospital
• Location: Charles City, IA (Near Waterloo, IA)
• EHR System: Meditech (Experience required if working PRN; preferred for travelers, but they will train).
• Medication System: Omni Cell.

• Unit Details

• Unit Size: L&D (3 beds) | Postpartum (3 beds)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 for both L&D and Postpartum.
• Floating Requirements: Floating is preferred.

• Facility Logistics & Dress Code

• Scrubs & Footwear: Any color scrubs. Crocs and clogs are allowed.
• Appearance Policy: Hair must be worn up. All tattoos must be covered. Only stud earrings are allowed (all other piercings must be removed).
• Meals & Breaks: Bring your own meals (breaks are paid). Staff must obtain permission before leaving the grounds during any paid breaks.
• Smoking Policy: Strictly a non-smoking campus.
• Parking & Arrival: Park by the loading dock on the North side of the hospital. Report to the front desk in the lobby. (A government-issued photo ID or Driver's License is required until the facility name badge is received).

• Orientation & Administrative Notes

• Orientation Requirement: 1 day + 1 shift.
• Timesheets: A copy of the timesheet must be left at the Nurses Station by the supervisor’s desk.
