Description

Position Summary: Performs radiographic examination on all ages of patients (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operation of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist as needed.

Position Qualifications:

· Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.

· Minimum Experience: Two years post graduate Radiologic Experience required in a hospital setting. Knowledge of CT angiograms. Ability to work independently. Computer experience desirable.

· License, Certification, Registration: American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). CT registered or Board eligible.

· Supervisory Responsibilities: Limited or None.

Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. Please let us know when this is done. Note: We require to receive the flight itinerary information for the candidate at least one (1) week in advance to ensure that we can provide scheduling of New Employee Orientation class attendance, Housing, etc. (Please send this information directly to ). New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY. We DO NOT pick up returning travelers. Note: The following information is needed in order for the candidate to be on-boarded for the position: **Traveler is NOT permitted to travel until ALL the credentials have been received and cleared by the YKHC recruiter.** . - Physical Address - E-mail Address - Phone Number - Date of Birth - Social Security Number (SSN) Immunization requirements from our Nurse Administrator: - Hepatitis A - Hepatitis B - Varicella - Measles - Mumps - Rubella - T-Dap Polio Or, Titers and/or the historical shot records for the candidate (Ex. Hep B is done usually from ages 1-4) If the candidate is not able to provide the shots listed above, they will not be accepted for the position. In addition they must have: Copy of Photo ID, copy of SSN card, Professional license and/or Certification, copy of education or transcripts where required, Background Check Results (national and Criminal, • 10 panel Drug Screen within the last 90 days *Competency (Testing) Checklist • OIG Report for ALL alias names• SAM Report ALL Alias names• National Sex Offender registry search for ALL alias names *OHSA Report • OFAC Report • Fit Test or Physical • Emergency Contact Information • 3 References.
