PREMIUM SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CST) CONTRACT – 3x12 NIGHTS

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment. Operating within a massive, high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center featuring 17 state-of-the-art surgical suites running 37 cases daily, this position is tailored for elite allied health professionals. Enjoy a stable 3x12 night routine, a mostly self-scheduled matrix, and hospital-provided scrubs in Lakewood, CO.

Please note: This overnight track features minimal to no routine call, though clinicians are required to help cover 3–4 call shifts per 6-week schedule cycle. While dedicated to a single campus, you must be flexible to float to regional zone facilities in extreme operational emergencies.

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM). Mostly self-scheduling is utilized to balance the unit; block scheduling is generally not permitted.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly. The facility maintains the right to cancel a maximum of 4 shifts per 13-week contract.
• On-Call Parameters: Minimal tracking. Expect 3 to 4 shifts of weeknight call per 6-week cycle, with a highly generous 2-hour maximum call response and arrival time. Weekend and holiday call are required on an as-needed basis.
• EMR System: Epic charting platform.
• Surgical Footprint & Volume: High-volume 17-suite OR processing an average of 37 cases per day under 24/7 Charge Nurse oversight.
• Clinical Scope & Case Mix: High-acuity overnight caseloads spanning Ortho Trauma, Total Joints, DaVinci Robotics, Neuro/Spine, Plastics, ENT, and Urology.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience with verified independent mastery of Robotics and Level 1 Trauma cases [REQUIRED].
• Profile Submission Mandate: A valid Driver's License must be included directly with your profile submittal [HARDSTOP]. This will be used to verify that your permanent residence sits outside the strict 60-mile radius rule.
• Orientation Requirement: Traveling technologists must be physically present in the state of Colorado for the entire week of orientation [HARDSTOP], even if the first-day modules are completed remotely.
• Certifications Required: Verifiable NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), active Colorado DORA registration, and AHA BLS are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP].
• Uniforms: Hospital-provided blue surgical scrubs are supplied directly on-site by the department.
