Description

Position Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: 309 Bare Hill Road Malone, NY 12953

Shift: Monday - Friday - 8am-4pm
 

Job Description
• Caring for I/I at facility and making treatment decisions for chronic medical decisions
• Referrals to outside facilities for special care.
• Responding to accommodations requests
• Guidance and care with infirmary care or diagnostic testing
• Reading and reviewing x-rays and EKGs
• Treatment of I/I for OUD MAT prescribing
• Coordinate care with other agencies i.e. OMH in concomitant care in facility.
• Post hospitalization treatment and follow up care.
• Monitoring hunger strikes within facility
• Emergency care of injured patients in facility i.e. splinting, stabilizing etc.
• Prescribing medications for chronic or acute conditions.
• Monitoring treatment in accordance with infectious disease policies for DOCCS.
• Ordering imaging, labs, and ancillary health testing as appropriate for condition or complaint.

Must have Active NY NP License.
