Position Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: 10-hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday–Friday

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements:
  • 1–2 weekday call shifts (based on department needs)
  • Every 2nd or 3rd weekend
  • Rotating holiday call with permanent staff

Required Experience

• Strong Cath Lab RN experience.
• Ability to monitor Cath Lab procedures when needed.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience using Epic EMR.

Required Certifications

• RN License
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab cases.
• Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed.
• Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Float within your skill set and to facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed to maintain guaranteed hours.

Additional Information

• Charting System: Epic.
• Travel experience is required.
• Must be flexible with floating to nearby sites (within 40 miles) to fulfill guaranteed weekly hours.
• Rotating call schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
