Description

 

Provides age appropriate care for one or more of the following age groups routinely: 

 

Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Assesses patient with input from the patient/family. 

 

Performs and documents assessment of the patient/family including bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs in an organized and systematic manner. 

 

Develops an individualized plan of care based upon the nursing assessment reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient/family and ensures plan is initiated, dated, and individualized by the RN within 24 hours of admission. 

 

Implements and individualizes plan of care based on nursing assessment, reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient/family. 

 

Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients/families, visitors, peers, and other health care team members. 

 

Demonstrates willingness and ability to acquire new knowledge and utilize new skills needed to improve individual, team, and organizational performance

Everyone is appreciative of travelers and are very supportive. I never felt alone or taken advantage of.

Cons

Parking is so expensive!! You will float to any unit that needs help and has an acceptable assignment regardless of what your recruiter says.
