PREMIUM NICU REGISTERED NURSE CONTRACT – LEVEL IV NICU

We are seeking a highly proficient Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Operating within a nationally recognized, high-acuity Level IV NICU.

Please note: This contract utilizes a fully flexible, rotating shift schedule. Clinicians must be prepared to navigate Day, Evening, and Night rotations based entirely on active unit census and operational needs.

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Stated as 12 hours per day / 3 days per week (36 hours guaranteed weekly). Utilizes D/E/N rotating shift schedules.
Unit Matrix: Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties are assigned per individual unit needs.
Clinical Footprint & Scope: Regional Level IV center delivering the highest tier of care for critically ill or premature newborns. The department provides advanced treatment modalities for neonatal respiratory failure and complex congenital heart disease.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive acute care NICU experience with verified telemetry proficiency [REQUIRED]. Must be comfortable handling high-acuity, complex neonatal populations.
Licensure Required: An active New York (NY) state nursing license is strictly required upfront [HARDSTOP]. Out-of-state or compact licenses without a temporary/permanent NY license in hand cannot be submitted.
Certifications Required: Verifiable Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) 8th Edition and AHA BLS (American Heart Association only) are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP]. ---
