⚡ URGENT Allied Health Auto-Offer Contract – DUAL CT & X-RAY ROLE

First Connect Health has an immediate, direct-hire Auto-Offer opportunity for a versatile CT Technologist with strong X-Ray capabilities in coastal San Pedro, California. Operating within a 189-bed community hospital, this department functions as a primary stroke receiving center handling general radiology and emergency imaging lines. If you are a cross-trained technologist looking to bypass slow interview queues, secure strong California tax-free stipends, and work a consistent night routine, this assignment is built for you!

Please note: This position explicitly requires cross-coverage in both CT and X-Ray diagnostic modalities. First-time travel technologists are proudly accepted!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,525.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,525.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $25.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 5x8-Hours (23:00 PM - 07:00 AM). Includes rotating weekend shifts. No block scheduling available.
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed weekly (Facility reserves the right to call off only once per two-week pay period).
On-Call Requirements: Rotational on-call standby is mandatory for this unit.
EMR & Charting System: Meditech charting architecture. Hardware tracking utilizes GE scanning suites and PACS data networks.
Dual-Modality Scope:
- CT Focus: Head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and handling primary stroke center protocols.
- X-Ray Focus: Required proficiency in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, portables, and surgery/C-Arm tracking.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a CT Tech with strong, documented X-Ray experience strictly required.
Licensure: Active California State License must be verified and in hand at the time of submission (pending state paperwork cannot be accepted).
Certifications Required: ART (R) or ARRT (CT), ARRT Advanced, active California Fluoroscopy Permit, and active AHA BLS are required.
Fire Safety Mandate: Must possess or acquire an active LA Fire Card within 30 days of starting.
Dress Code: Freedom of expression—any color scrubs are fully permitted on this unit!

Former staff members are eligible to return after 3 months of separation. 📍 Local Distance Radius Rules: The local radius parameter is set at 50 miles. Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the San Pedro facility are accepted, but under regional MSP guidelines, local profiles are subject to an adjusted lower local bill rate. 🔄 Flexible Statewide Floating Mandate: While the day-to-day routine floats strictly between the internal CT and X-Ray departments, all travelers under Providence contract terms are expected to float flexibly between facilities within a given state if a network crisis emerges. Refusal to float results in termination and forfeiture of hours. 🏖️ RTO & Holiday Frameworks: All requested time off (RTO) must be declared upfront at submittal. Requests under 7 days are preferred; anything longer will delay your file. Contractors must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). 🔍 Background Disclosure Policy: Candidates must fully disclose all historical license adjustments or background hits upfront at the exact time of submittal. Open or unvetted license tracking items will not be approved by compliance. Free parking is provided on-site. Onboarding incorporates an average of 16 hours of unbilled modules completed pre-start via Workramp transcripts.
