Location: Asheville, NC

Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue

Unit Name: PACU

Building: K Tower

Unit Specifics:

· Scrub Color(s) : Surgical green or navy

· Number of Beds : 40

· Patient Ratios : 1:2

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients

· Type of equipment : standard PACU equipment

· Documentation system: Cerner

· Scheduling requirements: 6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks

· Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)

· Patient Experience requirements:

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set: Trauma experience, pediatric experience

Must have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale experience and active RN license

Advanced skills needed: ventilator monitoring
