🔥 PREMIUM CRITICAL CARE RRT CONTRACT – AUTO-OFFER ELIGIBLE

 

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support an active adult critical care program. This position provides a consistent 3x12 night routine within a premier regional healthcare infrastructure. Please note: First-time travel respiratory therapists are proudly accepted if they meet the baseline intensive care unit experience markers!

 

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $1,926.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,350.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:30 AM). No block scheduling available.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours weekly.
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend coverage is mandatory, strictly tracking a pattern of rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts.
  • EMR Charting System: Cerner charting experience is highly preferred.
  • Core Ventilator & Airway Management: Advanced independent mastery handling mechanical ventilation weaning, BiPAP/CPAP platforms, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, extubations, intubation assistance, nasal/oral airway placements, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) setups.
  • Clinical Diagnostics & Skills: Expert execution of arterial blood gas (ABG) drawing, accurate ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, sputum specimen collection, and complex aerosolized medication delivery setups (Albuterol, Atrovent, Xopenex) across adult critical care settings. Emergency Department and Pediatric exposure are highly valued assets on this unit.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RRT, with at least 18 months of dedicated, recent adult ICU/critical care background strictly required.
  • Education: Academic credentials must be fully accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA.
  • Licensure: Active Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required. (Note: In-hand status is required prior to start, and temporary extensions are obtainable with proof of final application submissions).
  • Certifications Required: National NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, active AHA ACLS, and active AHA BCLS (BLS) are mandatory for profile presentation. Active PALS certification is highly preferred.

This written statement must be submitted alongside the profile. 🔄 Regional Cross-Hospital Floating Mandate: Travelers must maintain an adaptable clinical approach. Allied health professionals under this contract framework are 100% required to float flexibly between four designated regional campuses (Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan) to meet network census shifts. Refusal to float results in immediate termination of the contract. 🗺️ Local Radius Regulation Layouts: Indiana state residents are accepted for this allied position under local rules and will be offered the designated in-state rate framework. 🏖️ Non-Holiday RTO & Winter Holidays: Recruiter proxy auto-approval is limited to a maximum of five (5) days of non-holiday Requested Time Off (RTO). Any larger request requires direct facility intervention. Clinicians must remain fully available to work at least 2 out of the 3 major upcoming holidays. ⏱️ Consecutive System Break Policies: Former permanent or PRN employees of the network must have at least 12 months of separation before returning as a contractor. Furthermore, past or current network travelers who have accrued 12 months of cumulative employment must complete a mandatory, consecutive break period to reset travel eligibility before re-applying. Out-of-state residents require a 90-day break, while in-state residents require a consecutive 180-day break. 📋 Profile Compliance Demands: Submissions must contain the candidate's verified Social Security Number (SSN), Date of Birth (DOB), 2 professional supervisor references, and copies of active certifications. Background hits must be fully disclosed upfront for review prior to an offer.
