<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Active RN license</li><li><strong>BLS, ACLS &amp; NRP required</strong></li><li><strong>Must have recent L&amp;D and Med Surg/Peds experience</strong></li><li>Critical Access Hospital experience preferred</li><li>First-time travelers welcome</li></ul><h3><strong>Unit Highlights</strong></h3><ul><li>4 L&amp;D beds | 6 Postpartum beds | 1 OB triage bed</li><li>C-sections performed in the OR</li><li>AWHONN staffing ratios (1:1 inductions, 1:2 postpartum)</li><li>Charge RN available (typically without patient assignment)</li><li>OB provider &amp; Anesthesia on-call 24/7</li><li>GE fetal monitoring | Philips telemetry</li><li>RNs interpret telemetry strips (support available from ICU/Charge RN)</li><li>RT available on call 24/7</li></ul><h3><strong>Clinical Skills</strong></h3><ul><li>Labor &amp; Delivery</li><li>Postpartum</li><li>Newborn care</li><li>Triage</li><li>Pitocin titration</li><li>Telemetry interpretation</li><li>Float to Med Surg/Peds when OB census is low</li></ul><h3><strong>Additional Details</strong></h3><ul><li>1-hour call response required</li><li>One 12-hour unit orientation shift</li><li>Any scrub color permitted</li><li>Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork are key to success</li></ul><p><strong>Radius Rule:</strong> 50 miles.
