Description

Requirements

Active RN license (license pending accepted)
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS & STABLE required
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring required
3+ years of L&D experience required
Must have Labor & Delivery, Antepartum & Postpartum experience
OR circulating experience preferred
Previous travel experience required (No first-time travelers)

Unit Highlights

Float only within Women's Services (Antepartum, L&D & Postpartum)
High-risk OB population including preeclampsia, PPROM, placenta previa, diabetes, multiples, and other complex pregnancies
AWHONN staffing ratios (1:6 couplet care postpartum)
24/7 Laborist, Neonatologist & CRNA coverage
RN independently transitions mom & baby when NICU is unavailable
Charge RN on every shift
NICU team attends deliveries as needed

Clinical Skills

Antepartum, Labor & Delivery & Postpartum care
Pitocin, Magnesium & Insulin drips
Newborn transition & postpartum couplet care
Car seat studies
Ability to float between units and facilities during shift as needed

Scheduling

4x12-hour nights (6:45 PM–7:30 AM)
Every other weekend
Minimal holiday requirements
No call required
