HOT JOB: ENDOSCOPY RN – 4x10 DAYS & CALL (FORT MYERS, FL)
Sia Hayes at First Connect Health is fast-tracking applications for an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse. This is a premier 13-week travel contract within the Lee Health system, offering a highly collaborative unit culture.
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Start Date: 07/27/2026 – 10/24/2026 (13 Weeks)
- Shift: 06:00 AM - 16:30 PM | 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (Monday through Friday with a floating day off)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly
- On-Call Mandate: On-call rotations are required across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must maintain a strict 30-minute response time to the hospital when on call [HARDSTOP].
THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Environment: Inpatient Endoscopy unit. Travelers are fully welcomed into the department and are expected to seamlessly function alongside core staff.
- Core Competencies: Heavy inpatient endoscopy experience required. Preferred familiarity with advanced endoscopy modalities including EMR, ESD, RFA, CRYO, POEM, and ERCP.
- Systems & Charting: Epic EMR experience is required.
- Float Requirement: Floating is required. Travelers are the first to float and must be willing to cross-cover other sister campuses within the health system.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated Endoscopy experience [HARDSTOP]. Prior travel experience is preferred.
- Education Verification: Degree accreditation verification must be clearly visible on the profile, or the candidate must possess at least 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS [HARDSTOP].
- Demographic Mandate: Full submission profiles must include full permanent address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and active Florida (or Compact) RN license number. Profiles cannot be confirmed without this complete data upfront.
- Geographic Rule: Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (Travel only).
- Time Off Constraints: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the exact time of submission. Post-submission RTO will be automatically denied.
