Mother-Baby/Couplet/Post Partum RN | Charleston, WV | Days (3x12)
*No local candidates; candidates must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be considered
Unit Description: The Mother/Baby floor is a 21 private room unit. We care for postpartum moms, stable antepartum, and well or slightly ill newborns. The nurses are trained to work the floor and in the NBN. In the NBN, we manage mild RDS, newborn hypoglycemia, cardiac monitoring, phototherapy, IV antibiotics as well as managing NAS babies going through withdrawal. We deliver approximately 2800 patients a year. The Mother/Baby unit also services the breast-feeding families that may require additional help while in the hospital and post discharge.
Requirements:
2 years of Post Partum/Mother-Baby RN experience
BLS (CLC and/or NRP preferred)
WV or Compact RN license
