Travel Registered Nurse-Oncology I $2916 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Job Details:
Specialty: Registered Nurse-Oncology
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift Length: (36 hours/week, 4x9-hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Call Requirement: May participate in a Saturday call rotation (approximately once every 11 weeks)
Unit: Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Center (18 infusion chairs)
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology RN experience preferred.
- Recent chemotherapy administration experience is required.
- Ambulatory/Outpatient Oncology experience required.
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification through ONS is required.
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred but not required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong assessment, IV therapy, and patient education skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration, and supportive oncology treatments following established protocols.
- Monitor patients for infusion reactions and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatment.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
