Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds : 400
· Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners
· Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights
· Type of equipment : GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice
· Documentation system: Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: n/a
· Floating policy: n/a
· Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.

· Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited.
· CT – ACR accredited
Hiring profile
Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting
Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
Must have:
Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP’s.
Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IP’s to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.
Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.
