Location: Sundance, WY

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7 On / 7 Off – Night Shift

Floating: Required between the ER and Acute Care/Medical-Surgical units based on department needs

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ER / Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. This position requires flexibility to work in both the Emergency Department (ER) and Acute Care/Medical-Surgical units. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience and be comfortable caring for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in both the Emergency Department and Acute Care/Medical-Surgical units.
• Assess, prioritize, and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Accurately document patient care using the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Float between the ER and Acute Care/Medical-Surgical departments based on staffing and patient care needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience.
• Experience caring for both emergency and medical-surgical patients is preferred.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
