Description

Shift: 12 Hour Nights 

General InformationBeds: 44Minimum experience: 1.5 years general nursing experience 1 year specific to PCUWill you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience

Travelers must live 100 miles away from facility. 

 

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a travelerPatient Types:This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg please ensure traveler understandsDirect admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etcMI, NSTEMI STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacersBackup Stroke unit and Medical OverflowStep down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertionPatient Ratios:RN: 1:4 most of the time, can be 1:3 (acuity dependent)Required Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIHSSRequired Education:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.
