Job Overview

• Position Type: Contract (Travel) - Backfill Need
• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery / Birthing Center (LDRP)
• Target Start Date: 07-20-2026 (Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays)
• Duration: 13 to 16 weeks
  Tiered Radius Pay Rules: Rates are tiered based on direct-line mileage (not driving distance):
• Travel: 101+ miles
• Radius: 51 - 100 miles
• Local: 50 miles or less

• Highly Variable Scheduling Rules

• Shift: Mostly Nights.
• Variable Hours: This is not a standard 3x12 schedule. Hours will average a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts (e.g., 2x12s and 2x8s one week, then 1x12 and 1x8 the next week).
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of every other weekend, and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit.
• Block Scheduling: Absolutely NO block schedules will be approved for any reason.

• Required Qualifications & Clinical Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of LDRP experience required. Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Core Competency: Must be fully competent in all areas of the birthing department, including:
  • Labor
  • Delivery
  • Post-Partum Care
  • Newborn Care
• Certifications: * BLS (AHA)
  • NRP (AHA)
• Floating Requirements: Floating is required. Candidates must be willing to float to Med/Surg and the Emergency Department (ED).
