We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-performing cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and is skilled in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and neurovascular procedures.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Demonstrate competency in:
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • IABP and Impella support
  • Arterial/venous sheath removal and closure devices
  • Permanent pacemaker and ICD implantation assistance
  • Interventional procedures including thrombectomy, angioplasty, stenting, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart procedures
  • Management of procedural emergencies, including cardiac tamponade, stroke, air embolism, and anaphylaxis
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and apply ALARA principles.
• Perform equipment quality control checks and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in departmental meetings and support organizational policies and values.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience (travel experience preferred).
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular interventional procedures and emergency response protocols.

Schedule

• First Shift (Days)
• 4x10-hour shifts
• Call rotation required
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
