Job Details
- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (Scrub & Circulate)
- Job Type: Travel Contract
- Location: Pennsylvania
- Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3×12)
Requirements
- PA RN License or Compact License required at the time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR/Cardiac OR experience
- Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgery cases
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate cardiac experience
- Experience with Epic charting system
Required Cardiac Experience
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)
- Aortic Valve Repair/Replacement
- Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement
- Heart Transplants
- Aortic Dissections
- LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device)
Preferred Experience
- Vascular & Thoracic procedures including:
- EVAR
- TEVAR
- TCAR
- Open AAA
Assignment Details
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Floating: May float to General OR, Urology, ENT, or other surgical services based on cardiac volume (approximately once per week or as needed)
- Weekend Requirement: On-call only
- On-Call: 5 call shifts per month (days/hours vary)
- Holiday Requirement: None
- Scrubs: Hospital provided

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
