Description

**Title**  
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

**Schedule**  
Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45–07:15)  
Weekend requirement: every other weekend  
Holiday requirement: must work 2 of 3 major holidays  

**Assignment Details**  
Assignment length: 13–26 weeks  
Hours options: 36 or 48 hours/week accepted

**Requirements**  
- Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience  
- BCLS/BLS certification required  
- EPIC experience required  
- Preferred: CPI, charge nurse experience  
- Skills: Ability to manage insulin and heparin drips, peripheral line care, wound care/VAC, high-flow oxygen support, basic BiPAP support as needed, dysrhythmia recognition/management  

**Roles & Responsibilities**  
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a general medical-surgical unit.  
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those requiring insulin and heparin drips.  
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.  
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.  
- Participate in nursing rounds and unit team meetings.  
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely using electronic health records.
