Location: Tampa, FL 33614
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Weekly for 40 hours : $2,556 weekly ($24/hr w2 + $1,596 week stipend)
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Job Type: 13-week Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Home Health team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients in their homes and develop individualized treatment plans to help them regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in patients' homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive equipment.
  • Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and home modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all visits accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and agency policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience required
  • Must be independent practitioner
  • Certs required: BLS
  • Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
  • Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file.
  • Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work.
  • Based on the needs of the HomeCare office, the visits and hours will be self-scheduled
